Yesterday, EV Zug announced the premature end of the season for Noemi Ryhner, who suffered a broken fibula at the National Cup last weekend. As a result, the 25-year-old will miss the Olympic Games.
As announced by the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation, forward Lisa Rüedi has been nominated as a replacement. The 25-year-old forward is the captain of the ZSC Lions Frauen and has collected 16 points (seven goals) in 26 games so far this season.
