As "SRF" reports, the captain of the national team took a puck to the head in warmups and was not able to play. It remains to be seen whether she will be able to play in the quarterfinal game later this week.

Switzerland thus started into the game without their captain. The first period remained scoreless. The Finns then took the lead in the second period, recording two goals within six minutes. Alina Müller managed to draw Switzerland within one, scoring a shorthander in the 37th minute of play.

However, only 35 seconds later, the Finns scored again, making it 3-1 for Finland. The last period also remained scoreless, making the Finns the winners of the game. Switzerland will thus have to face an opponent from its own group in the quarterfinal. Beware any surprises, they will face Finland once again.
