As Scott Powers writes on the Athletic, all signs point to the Blackhawks letting the Swiss forward go.

Drafted in 2018 from the Chicago Blackhawks and a member of their organization ever since, Philipp Kurashev's future might be far from the Windy City. Unless "something drastic" happens during the season, Powers writes that Chicago will allow the 25-year-old to become an unrestricted free agent.

Coming from a noteworthy 2023-24 season (18 goals and 36 assists in 75 games), Kurashev is struggling to find his rhythm this year with only three goals and two assists in 30 games.
