With the trade deadline coming up in two days, the forward might find himself on a different team soon. One option could be the Dallas Stars.

Pius Suter's contract with the Vancouver Canucks is running out this summer, and he will become an unrestricted free agent once again. Such players tend to be involved in trade talks heading up to the NHL Trade Deadline, which falls on March 7 this season. As it stands, there is a chance the Swiss forward could actually be moved.

Adam Kierszenblat, who covers the Canucks for "The Hockey News", reported on the platform formerly known as Twitter that Vancouver and the Dallas Stars might be working on a deal involving Suter. Rick Dhaliwal ("CHEK-TV", "The Athletic") mentioned that he has not heard about Suter and the Stars, but also had brought up Suter in an earlier tweet.
