While Roman Josi and Nino Niederreiter both said that they would join the team if everything went smoothly, there was always a possibility they would not be able to join the national team. As the newspaper reports, both should be able to play in the World Championship.

During the break of the game between Czechia and Switzerland, Lars Weibel, Director Sport of the SIHF, told "SRF" that it looks good regarding the participation of all three NHLers but could not yet confirm anything. This might thus also include Kevin Fiala, whose significant other is expecting.

Sven Andrighetto, who comes off his championship-winning run with the ZSC Lions, will, however, definitely join the Swiss national team. He confirmed his participation in "SRF"'s "Sportpanorama".
