GSHC's Simas Ignatavicius drafted by the Panthers, Lars Steiner by the Blues

Ignatavicius, who is of Lithuanian and American descent, was the only player in Switzerland who was invited to the NHL Scouting Combine, where about 90 prospects get to showcase their skills to the NHL Teams. He appeared in 52 games for Genève-Servette HC this season, recording 13 points.

Lars Steiner is a product of HC Davos' organization and has been playing in the QMJHL for the past two seasons, suiting up for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Last season, the forward recorded 30 goals and 25 assists in 44 regular-season games for the Huskies.
