As expected, Leon Muggli was the highest-drafted Swiss player today. However, he was not the only one picked by an NHL team.

HC Davos

Christian Kirsch, a product of EV Zug's organization, was selected 116th overall by the San Jose Sharks. The 18-year-old goaltender, who will play in the USHL next season, appeared in 30 games for EVZ's U20 team, posting a 2.32 GAA.

19-year-old Rico Gredig was also selected today. The New York Rangers used the 191st overall pick on the forward. Gredig started in Chur but has played for HC Davos since the U15 level. The forward made his National League debut this past season, appearing in 28 games (two goals, two assists).

Basile Sansonnens, for his part, was drafted 221st overall by the Vancouver Canucks. The 17-year-old defenseman is a product of HC Fribourg-Gottéron's organization but will play for Lausanne HC next season. He made his debut for the Dragons this past season, but mostly played for their U20 team.
