Timo Meier has been issued a suspension for cross-checking Nashville Predators forward Zachary L'Heureux. The incident occurred in the 13th minute of play of Monday's game.
Meier received a five-minute major as well as a game misconduct penalty during the game. He will have to forfeit $45,833.33 of his salary for the incident.
