Akira Schmid has reportedly agreed to terms with the Vegas Golden Knights

According to CapFriendly, the 24-year-old goaltender has signed a two-year, one-way deal with the Knight worth $ 1.75 million.

The deal has yet to be confirmed by the Vegas Golden Knights. The NHL team acquired the rights to Akira Schmid in a trade made on June 29 with the New Jersey Devils. They did not extend a qualifying offer to the goaltender, so Schmid became a free agent on July 1.

Akira Schmid appeared in 19 games for the Devils last season and also suited up in 23 games for their AHL affiliate, the Utica Comets.
