Akira Schmid has reportedly agreed to terms with the Vegas Golden Knights

The deal has yet to be confirmed by the Vegas Golden Knights. The NHL team acquired the rights to Akira Schmid in a trade made on June 29 with the New Jersey Devils. They did not extend a qualifying offer to the goaltender, so Schmid became a free agent on July 1.

Akira Schmid appeared in 19 games for the Devils last season and also suited up in 23 games for their AHL affiliate, the Utica Comets.
