957 - Roman Josi to become Nashville's leader in games played

When facing the Ottawa Senators at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville tonight, Roman Josi will break yet another Predators franchise record. He already holds the ones for most points and most assists, now the one for most (regular season) games is also going to be solely claimed by the 34-year-old. It is currently co-held by the Swiss defenseman and David Legwand, at 956.

Legwand and Josi's tenures with Nashville overlap for a few years, with Legwand being there from 1999 to 2014, and Josi making his first appearances in 2011. The forward would end up being traded away and retired in 2016. Josi, the Preds' captain since 2017, is still signed until 2028.
