Seven players from Swiss teams were selected by CHL teams at this year's Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.

17-year-old Florian Schenk was drafted by the Saint John Sea Dogs. The forward is a product of SC Bern's organization. Czech forward Matej Pekar, who is playing for HC Ambrì-Piotta's U20 team, has been selected by the Seattle Thunderbirds. 

Basile Sansonnens, who was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks last weekend, was picked by Rimouski Océanic. Lars Steiner, a teammate of Florian Schenk, has been selected by the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Sherbrooke Phoenix and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies drafted HC Lugano's Elia Pedrotti, F, and Harijs Cjunski, D, respectively. Also, David Bosson, who played for GCK's U20 team last season, was picked by the Drummondville Voltigeurs.
