Swiss Ice Hockey revealed the winners of their awards

The winners were selected by a committee consisting of team representatives, team captains and selected sport journalists. Only the winner of the category "Most Popular Player" was decided by the fans. This year, Julien Sprunger took the trophy home. He was also awarded the "Special Award"

Reto Berra (HC Fribourg-Gottéron, now EHC Kloten) won two of the three categories he was nominated in: MVP of the National League Playoffs as well as Goaltender of the year.  MVP of the National League Regular Season went to Matej Stransky (HC Davos, now HC Dynamo Pardubice). 

Simas Ignatavicius, 18, of Genève-Servette HC was awarded the trophy for "Youngster of the Year". Alina Müller once again won in the category "Woman of the Year" - it is her sixth win in that category. Lara Stalder (EV Zug) was named MVP of the Women's League.

HC Sierre's Samuel Asselin won MVP of the Swiss League and Arnaud Schnegg (HC Franches-Montagnes) won the equivalent of Asselin's award for the MyHockey League. He won the award for the third time.

Both the men's national team and the women's national team went home with a "Hockey Award". The men's team won for their performance at the World Championship and reaching the number one spot in the IIHF's ranking for the first time in history. The women's team was awarded for their bronze-winning run in the Olympic Games this past February.
