The check over CHF 2,961,041 was handed to SIHF's CEO Martin Baumann and Vice President Marc-Anthony Anner ahead of the game between Sweden and Switzerland last week.
The check was provided by the Stiftung Sportförderung Schweiz (SFS) and is handed out annually. The money is taken from a portion of the net winnings of the lottery companies Swisslos and Loterie Romande.
