Winterthur's Nicolò Ugazzi joins Olten early

At the beginning of February, EHC Olten announced the signing of Nicolò Ugazzi to a two-year deal. With EHC Winterthur not qualified for the Swiss League playoffs, the defenseman is now already joining Olten prematurely to reinforce them for said playoffs.

The 24-year-old has experience with being loaned to a different team for the postseason. Last year, he suited up for EHC Visp, winning the Swiss League title with them. 

With only Aaro Törmänen sidelined due to injury, the Mice are going into the playoffs at almost full strength.
