Virgile Thévoz has agreed to terms with EHC Visp

The 24-year-old defender joins the Valaisans from the cantonal rivals HCV Martigny for the upcoming season.

A product of Lausanne HC's youth department, Virgile Thévoz made his debut in the National League during the 2017-18 season. Ever since, Thévoz mostly suited up in the Swiss League or the MyHockey League, mainly with EHC Winterthur and HCV Martigny. In Visp, the defender has signed a one-year contract.

Last season, Thévoz suited up in 39 games for HCV Martigny in the Swiss League, scoring two goals and collecting four assists. Moreover, he was also in Lausanne HC's game sheet for one playoff game.
