The 30-year-old forward has agreed to a one-year contract extension with the Swiss League team.

"He is a versatile player and has already become an important part of the team after just one season. Not only does he contribute a lot to the team because of his experience, he also shows that he is a leader in terms of character," Kevin Schläpfer, team manager of EHC Basel, said.
Vincenzo Küng joined the Swiss League team from SC Langenthal in 2023 and appeared in 40 regular-season games for them, recording 14 goals and 22 assists.
