The 26-year-old forward has signed a two-year contract binding him to Visp for a fifth and a sixth consecutive season.

Daniele Marghitola, team manager of EHC Visp, believes that Simon Wüest perfectly embodies the club's values of dedication, consistency, and team spirit: "His progress and daily commitment have naturally led to this contract extension. We are confident that he will continue to play a key role in the club’s development".
This past season, Wüest put up six goals and seven assists in 61 games with EHC Visp. Last year, he won the Swiss League championship with the Valaisans.
