"It was a decision that was difficult to make. But it was also a liberating choice, given how my last season in Zürich went," Timotée Schaller tells La Gruyère. He struggled with the fact that his playing time was limited and, as he says, after a while, he even started not to enjoy going to practice as much, even though he "loved his teammates."
Schaller is a product of HC Fribourg-Gottéron's organization and joined the GCK Lions in 2022. This past season, he appeared in 29 games, recording six goals.
