Swiss League

As the National League, the Swiss League will open its season on September 9. The playoffs will start on February 24 after the Olympic break.

On the first day of the season, EHC Basel will face HC Sierre, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds is set to play against EHC WinterthurEHC Olten will face the GDT Bellinzona Snakes, EHC Visp will hit the ice against HC Thurgau, and EHC Chur has been matched up with the GCK Lions.

EHC Arosa, the newly promoted team, will play its first game on September 12 in Winterthur. Due to Arosa's promotion, the teams will now play a 50-game season, and each team will play each other five times. The playoffs will be played once again in the best-of-seven format, and the season will be over for the teams which will rank ninth to eleventh.
