Following "MVP MyHockey League 2025" and "Goaltender of the Year 2025", the SIHF has revealed the three nominees for the next award, "MVP Sky Swiss League 2025": EHC Visp's goaltender Robin Meyer, EHC Olten's forward Guillaume Asselin, and EHC Basel's forward Jakob Stukel.
In the regular season, Robin Meyer was only the eighth goaltender for save percentage with .923 (among goalies with at least ten games). However, in the playoffs, the 24-year-old raised his level, reaching a save percentage of .952, and leading EHC Visp to the Swiss League championship and to the League Qualification against HC Ajoie. As is known, Meyer will play for the SCL Tigers next season.
For their part, imports Jakob Stukel and Guillaume Asselin led the Swiss League in points during the regular season, with 67 and 63 points in 45 games, respectively. They also topped the league in goals (Stukel with 31) and assists (Asselin with 44). Stukel was first in points and goals also in the playoffs, but Asselin was the player with the highest points-per-game average with 1.57.
