As HC La Chaux-de-Fonds announced earlier today, they have acquired the services of Riley Damiani. Joining them from the DEL's Augsburger Panther, he has signed a contract valid for the coming season.
"Riley is a fast and creative player who can be deployed both as a centre and on the wing", team manager Loïc Burkhalter states. "Wherever he has played, he has demonstrated his goal-scoring ability."
The 26-year-old started his career with the Mississauga Rebels. While part of the OHL's Kitchener Rangers, Damiani was selected by the Dallas Stars in the third round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. During the years that followed, he mostly played in the AHL, with seven NHL appearances for the Stars. In 2024, the Canadian moved to Germany to join the Augsburger Panther.
