Marco Cavalleri to join EHC Olten effective immediately, Elsener stays

The Snakes announced yesterday that Cavalleri would join EHC Olten. Thomas Roost, team manager of the Mice, confirmed to the Oltner Tagblatt that the two parties had indeed agreed to terms.

However, it is not yet entirely clear when he will be able to hit the ice for the Mice as the administrative details have yet to be resolved. He might make his debut either against EHC Visp (December 28) or against HC Sierre (December 30).

Meanwhile, the team also announced that they have activated the option of Janis Elsener's contract. The 27-year-old defenseman will thus stay with the Mice until the end of the 2025-26 season.
