Killian Mottet is still under contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron until the end of the season, but he no longer has a future with the Dragons. As a result, he was loaned to HC Ajoie last season, and now he’ll be on loan to HC Sierre. Sierre is not unfamiliar territory for the forward. Early in his professional career, between 2009 and 2011, Mottet was loaned twice by the Dragons to the Swiss League club.
“Killian is an experienced player who brings a lot of energy and intensity to our game. His dangerous shot and his presence on the ice will be valuable assets for our team both on and off the ice,” says Éric Castonguay, assistant coach and assistant general manager at HC Sierre.
Mottet played 52 qualifying games for HC Ajoie last season, scoring ten goals and contributing ten assists. He also played in four playout games (no points).
