Cédric Hächler and Lionel Marchand have signed contract extension with HC Thurgau. While Hächler has agreed to a one-year contract, Marchand will stay in Thurgau until the end of the 2026-27 season.

On the other hand, Leandro Hinder and Mikael Slehofer have earned their first contracts with the Swiss League team. Hinder played for them this season but was under contract with EHC Kloten and has signed a two-year contract. Slehofer, for his part, was signed to HC Fribourg-Gottéron this season, but also suited up in ten games for HC Thurgau. He will stay until 2026.

Andreas Döpfner, Tyler Higgins, and Yves Stoffel will have to leave the team and thus look for a new opportunity. Furthermore, HC Thurgau has also released Severin Karrer (off to EHC Wetzikon) and Louis Hungerbühler from their development contracts. The future of Luca Deussen and David Lindquist has yet to be determined.

In other news, Davide Fadani and Ewan Huet (both EHC Kloten) will be available to HC Thurgau in the 2025-26 season. They will be able to suit up for the Swiss League team via B-license. The team will also receive defensemen and forwards from the National League team but names have not yet been disclosed.
