HC Sierre extends contract of Tyler Higgins

The 27-year-old defenseman has signed a one-year contract with the Swiss League team.

Tyler Higgins, who is a Canadian as well as a Swiss citizen, moved to the Valais last season and won the Swiss League championship with HC Sierre.

Last season, Higgins appeared in 63 games for Sierre, recording nine goals and 16 assists.
