Guillaume Maillard joins HC Sierre on loan deal from Genève-Servette HC

HC Sierre announced the addition of The 26-year-old for the remainder of the season starting from November 30 for the game against the GCK Lions.

Guillaume Maillard is no stranger to Sierre. The forward knows the club from his former stints there. During the 2018-19 season, he played 17 in the Swiss League for Sierre. In those 17 games, he scored four goals and ten assists. Ever since that season, he has played in the National League for Lausanne HC, EHC Biel, and Geneva. Now he returns to Sierre, at least until the end of the season.

Maillard is looking forward with excitement: “Very excited and impatient to wear the colors of Sierre. An ambitious club, aiming for the top of the table. I know the dressing room well as I've been there two to three times in my career!” 

In the ongoing National League season he played 19 games for GSHC, contributing one assist
