GCK Lions advance to the finals, no Playout/League qualification to take place

EHC Olten trailed the GCK Lions after two periods but they managed to tie the game in the 42 minute of play. However, Joel Henry of the GCK Lions took matters into his own hands, scoring two goals for them within eleven seconds and thus securing the lead for his team once again.

The Mice did not recover from that deficit and had to admit defeat. The GCK Lions advancing to the Playoff Final means no Playout Final or League qualification for the National League teams this season since neither finalist from the Swiss League could get promoted. HC Ajoie and EHC Kloten are thus done with their season.
