Serving as head coach of the Lions' Swiss League squad before his promotion to the National League, the organization is set to keep him around in his previous position.

Head coach of the ZSC Lions since December 30, Marco Bayer is meant to finish the season with the National League team. His contract with the organization is running out. According to "Watson"'s Klaus Zaugg, the Lions are keeping Bayer on board - in the Swiss League. The extension does, however, reportedly include the option to remain head coach of the National League-Lions as well.
