The 19-year-old goaltender will receive the opportunity to gain some experience in the Swiss League.

Matia Birchler recently signed a professional contract with EV Zug and will now be loaned to EHC Visp via B-license for the entire season. He can, however, be recalled at any given time by EV Zug.
The goaltender appeared in 40 games for EV Zug's U21 team last season. He has been with the organization since the 2021-22 season.
