Evgenï Chiriaev's contract will not be extended

As Evgenï Chiriaev tells "Arcinfo", the club told him in Novembet that he would not receive a new contract from them. He had hoped to end his career with HCC but will now look at his options.

"I hope to continue to play for another Swiss League team, but I will have to evaluate the situation," Chiriaev said, adding that he also has to finish his training in the insurance business, in which he wants to work after his hockey career.

Chiriaev has appeared in 43 games for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds this season, recording three goals and seven assists.
