EHC Winterhur announces Markus Studer as their new head coach

Markus Studer used to coach EHC Winterthur from 2006 to 2016. After that, he joined EHC Bülach, then coached for HC Ambrì-Piotta's organization. In 2020, he joined the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and has been mostly coaching their U20 team.

“In Markus, we have been able to sign a coach who has done excellent work with young players in recent years. Knowing that we will also be one of the youngest teams in the Swiss League in the upcoming 2025-26 season, he is the right choice for us," Christian Weber, team manager of EHC Winterthur, said.
