According to the "Oltner Tagblatt", Vincent Léchenne, who worked together with Sheehan in Porrentruy, was the front runner for the position. However, as per the newspaper's sources, he will not leave his position as head coach of HC Franches-Montagnes.
Andre Rötheli's name also seems to have been brought up in connection with the vacant position. Stefan Schneider was also on Sheehan's list, but Schneider is not available as he works for SC Bern's junior section. Whoever will end up with the position, Sheehan would like to have someone in place by the end of June.
