EHC Olten ends financial year with a big deficit

EHC Olten had already expected a negative result for their 2025-26 financial year, as they once again had to report a structural deficit. However, at least, after years of continuous decline, sponsorship revenue was increased again, albeit they were hoping for a bigger increase. Sales from ticketing were also higher than in the previous period.

As for next season, they have a budget of CHF 5 million and are also projecting a loss. In other news, Michel Ulrich and Florian Schmuckli have been confirmed as new members of the board of Directors. President Marc Thommen, vice president Rolf Riechsteiner, as well as Pierre Hagmann and Markus Spielmann will continue to be on the board.
