Swiss League

While the Swiss League team presented a loss of CHF 1.043 million last year, this season, they had to show a deficit of CHF 832,000 to their shareholders.

The loss primarily resulted from lower income from sponsors and ticket sales. While the EHC Olten managed to improve its finances in comparison to the last year, the deficit is still substantial. Still, EHC Olten plans to eliminate the structural deficit within three fiscal years.

The Board of Directors has initiated measures to stabilize the company's financial situation. In addition to grants and loans from the Board of Directors and related parties, a share capital increase will be implemented. The share capital will remain at CHF 1,692,898.

In light of their financial situation, EHC Olten has also decided not to hand in their application for the National League promotion.

As for the board members, president Marc Thommen, Pierre Hagmann, Rolf Riechsteiner, and Thomas Roost have been re-elected. Christian Roth and Fabian Aebi stepped down from their positions. Markus Spielmann was newly elected to the Board of Directors.
