"Two criteria were decisive for me: I wanted an assistant coach who spoke the players' language and had a lot of experience as a coach. Ramon Schaufelberger has the whole package," Gary Sheehan, head coach of EHC Olten, said.
Schaufelberger has been EHC Bülach's head coach for the past five years and thus has the necessary experience for his new position. Speaking of experience, Michael Tobler, who has been with EHC Olten for seven years, will add another season to his tenure with the Mice. He will remain their goaltending coach for the 2024-25 season.
