Swiss League
The 30-year-old forward will not suit up for the Swiss League team next season. He will take on a new role altogether.
Cédric Hüsler will serve as an assistant coach for EHC Wetzikon in the MyHockey League. It will be his first venture in coaching on that level. The forward, who recorded six goals and eight assists in 33 games last season, will thus not stay with EHC Basel's organization.
Santiago Näf will also no longer suit up for EHC Basel. The forward had played for the Swiss League team via B-license. As he now is under contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, he will no longer suit up for Basel.
