Goalie Andri Henauer and forward Noah Fuss are no strangers to EHC Basel, having spent the last four seasons on loan there (Henauer) and, during the 2023-24 season, a dozen games with them (Fuss). Henauer, who has been under contract with SC Bern, has now signed a three-year deal with Basel, while Fuss will reinforce EHC Basel for at least the upcoming season.
Additionally, the club has announced the hiring of Patrice Lefebvre as the assistant coach to Eric Himelfarb. The 58-year-old Italian-Canadian citizen has been working as the head coach of Forward-Morges HC U20 for the past four seasons.
This past season, Henauer averaged a save percentage of .907 in the regular season and of .926 during the playoffs. For his part, Fuss collected 38 points in 62 games on loan to EHC Visp from SC Bern.
