Czechia instead of Arosa? Tryout with Litvinov for Dominik Volejníček

HC VERVA Litvínov (Czech Extraliga) has signed Dominik Volejníček to a tryout contract. His performance during the team's training camp will decide about the forward's future. Back in April, Volejníček had signed a contract with EHC Arosa, valid for the coming season. Whether the 28-year-old would move to the Swiss League team to honor that deal if the tryout is unsuccessful remains to be seen.

Volejníček was born in Switzerland, but has Czech roots. He spent most of his junior time with EV Zug, and eventually graduated to men's hockey there. In 2025, after four years with HC Sierre, he moved to France to play for Anglet (Ligue Magnus).
