The two EHC Winterthur players will reinforce the Swiss League team for the playoffs.

Anthony Staiger

EHC Winterthur

Luca Deussen is already familiar with the team, as he used to play on loan for HC Thurgau for the past two seasons. The defender was added to "bring more depth to the defense of HCT." He has recorded one goal and six assists in 36 games for EHC Winterthur this season.

Anthony Staiger, for his part, has captained Winterthur for the past four seasons. It is the first time since 2019-20 that he reinforces another team than the one he is under contract with for the playoffs. This season, he has put up eight goals and 14 assists in 49 games.

They will also be able to count on EHC Kloten's forward Simon Meier, 20, and Genève-Servette HC's defenseman Eric Schneller, 20, for the playoffs. They will suit up for the team via B-license. The other players who have suited up for HCT throughout the season via B-license will also be available to the team, but can be recalled at any given time.
