Swiss League

Daniel Carbis and Simon Lüthi are hanging up their skates, Denis Rubanik and Timo Demuth are staying, Niels Riesen fully joins.

Two veterans who aided with EHC Chur's promotion to the Swiss League will no longer be around the coming season. Defenseman Simon Lüthi and forward Daniel Carbis are saying goodbye to active hockey. The former was with them for two, the latter for one season. Both played for various teams in the National- and the Swiss League.

Defenseman Denys Rubanik and forward Timo Demuth have both signed one-year extensions with Chur. It will be Rubanik's second season with the team, while for Demuth, it will be the fourth.

Furthermore, Chur has signed a netminder - one that has already spent last season with them, but on loan. Niels Riesen is now a full member of the club, coming over from EHC Kloten.

Besides all that, Chur announced that former ski racer Carlo Janka is joining as an athletics coach and will work alongside Michael Bont.
