Swiss Hockey

The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation used the Swiss Ice Hockey Games to induct the new members to the Hall of Fame.

Beat Forster ended his career as a professional hockey player in 2024. He played 1,171 National League games, won six championship titles, and suited up 109 times for the Swiss national team. 

Maxim Noreau was also inducted into the Hall of Fame. The Canadian played 536 games in Switzerland and was one of the most productive defensemen during his time in the National League.

Referee Anna Wiegand debuted in 2019 in the Swiss League. She went on to become the first woman to ever referee a National League game in 2022. She was also selected to serve as a referee in the World Championships as well as the Olympic Games. She now works as SIHF's Development Officiating Manager Women & Prospect.

Also honored was the national team, which won silver at the World Championship in Herning/Stockholm.
