A European import with an expiring contract is often targeted by his home country, and it seems to be no different in the Swede's case.

Andreas Wingerli's contract with EV Zug is running out this spring. It is not yet known what the forward's plans are, but at least there should be some options for him. As "Hockeynews.se" writes, several clubs from the SHL are courting him.
The Swede joined Zug in 2023 from Skellefteå AIK, where he spent most of his previous career, aside from one year in North America. In 85 National League games so far, he has collected 20 goals and 21 assists.
