Jacob de la Rose and Marcus Sörensen have supposedly extended their current contracts, which are set to expire at the end of this season, and will stay with HC Fribourg-Gottéron until 2029. As the newspaper further reports, several SHL teams had also tried to lure them back to Sweden.
The National League team has yet to confirm the report from the Swedish news outlet. The two Swedes have been playing for the Dragons since 2022 and were an important factor in HCFG's run to the championship title last season.
