The Lions have reinforced themselves with a Canadian-British forward. It is not his first time in the National League.

For the last bit of regular season and the coming playoffs, Lausanne HC has acquired the services of Brendan Perlini. The forward last played for Spartak Moskva, but only from December to January. A few years back, Perlini had already spent some time in Switzerland, with HC Ambrì-Piotta.

"Brendan has a big body and a speedy style of play", team manager John Fust notes. "He is an experienced player, who has the advantage of already knowing our championship."

During his short tenure in the KHL, Perlini recorded one assist in four games. Before his eastern adventures, the Canadian-British dual-citizen was without a team for a few months. His previous employer was the Charlotte Checkers (AHL).
