Tigers confirm coaching departures, Tobias Thermell will join

Just yesterday, the "Berner Zeitung" noted that assistants Jukka Varmanen (with the team since 2022) and Pär Arlbrandt (since December) are set to leave the SCL Tigers. The club confirmed the report today, while also informing about an addition. Tobias Thermell will be joining the team for next season.

The 49-year-old is currently an assistant coach with Örebro HK and involved in the fight for the last post-season spot in the SHL. He has been with the Swedish team since 2022, always as assistant. His coaching career began in 2012 in the HockeyAllsvenskan.
