EV Zug has announced the acquisition of Eric Schneller next summer. Coming over from Genève-Servette HC, the defenseman is joining on a deal valid until 2028. It will be his second station in the National League.

"Eric not only knows how to make optimal use of his size, but can also make an offensive impact with his skills at the puck and his vision of the game", Zug's team manager Reto Kläy notes.

Schneller grew up as a member of the GCK Lions' youth department. In 2021, he headed northwards to join Rögle BK's juniors, and stayed there until 2024, when he returned to Switzerland to join GSHC. Now, at the age of 20, the defenseman stands at 59 National League games.
