With the two defenders Santtu Kinnunen and Juuso Riikola, as well as the forwards André Petersson, Saku Mäenalanen, Hannes Björninen, and Jonathan Dahlén (new signing from Timrå IK), six import players are under contract for the coming season.

However, the future of captain Harri Pesonen and Sean Malone, whose contracts are expiring, remains unclear. Malone returned to the Tigers this week and is hoping for a longer-term commitment. Pascal Müller, team manager of the SCL Tigers, told the newspaper that he would not rule out the American staying beyond the current season: “He is a candidate, as is Pesonen.”

Malone will arrive in Langnau today following the announcement of his transfer. Pesonen has been captain of the Tigers since 2022 and has contributed 18 points in 30 games so far this season.
