The 26-year-old defenseman has signed a one-year contract with the Tigers and will stay with the team until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Klaus Zaugg ("Watson") already reported last week that Santtu Kinnunen was close to signing a contract extension. The deal has now been confirmed by the SCL Tigers. Pascal Müller, the Tigers' team manager, had this to say about Kinnunen: "His qualities as a player as well as his professional conduct make him an important member of our team."
Santtu Kinnunen has appeared in 23 games for Langnau this season, recording three goals and twelve assists.
