SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers take next step towards the realization of the practice rink

This means that the Lakers are now able to proceed with a test drilling on the site in January to "obtain more accurate information about costs and load-bearing capacity due to the challenging subsoil conditions."

Once the results are available, the Lakers Sport AG will begin the public subscription of shares to increase their share capital by CHF 1.8 million. The entire amount will then go towards the construction of the practice rink. 

At the same time, the building application will be prepared. The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers estimate that the new practice facility will cost  CHF 10 to 12 million. If everything goes according to plan, they might have their building permit by mid-2026.
