Rodwin Dionicio seems to be headed to the capital city

Klaus Zaugg ("Watson") first reported at the end of June that SC Bern was considering a potential trade to bring Rodwin Dionicio to the capital city. Dionico, who is no longer wanted in Biel, was also offered to other teams, but it seems like the Bears have now made their case for the defenseman and the deal will, barring any changes, go down without a trade. 

Rodwin Dionicio played two seasons of junior hockey for SC Bern before heading to North America in 2021. The defenseman was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks and played half a season in the AHL in the 2024-25 season. In January 2025, he was then loaned to EHC Biel for the remainder of the season. He has been with the Seelanders ever since.
